Painter, Carl William "Billy"

Carl William “Billy” Painter, 62, of Rising Fawn, died on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his residence. 

He had lived most of his life in the Rossville area where he attended Chattanooga Valley High School.  He was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam Era in Germany.  Mr. Painter had worked in maintenance at Pilgrim’s Pride.  His passions in life were spending time with family and friends and watching NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy and Ivauline Painter; and brother, Rusty Painter.

Survivors include his brothers, Donald (Kathy) Painter of Rossville and John (Shirley) Morris of Rising Fawn; and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
