Margie Stanfield Dunford, 89, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Monday, February 8, 2016.

She was the daughter of the late Grady and Cleo Butler Stanfield; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Dunford; sister, Betty Faye Hayno; and brother, Bobby Ray Stanfield.

Margie was a member of the Lafayette First Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Acacia Chapter of the Eastern Star of Knoxville, TN and Highlands Women’s Club of Louisville, KY.

Margie is survived by her son, Richard Dunford of Rocky Face; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10 in the Chapel of Love Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lafayette Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Love Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 5-8 p.m.

The family asks that flowers please be omitted and memorials be made to one's favorite charity.
