LBMC, one of the Southeast’s largest accounting and business consulting firms, on Friday announced executive leadership appointments meant to bolster strategic initiatives centered around client service and company growth. To achieve this, the company, which recently surpassed 500 total employees, has named veteran employee Leisa Gill to a newly-created role as director of Client Experience, and brought in Suzanne Reed as the director of Marketing.

“LBMC stands out in its industry because of commitment to client service and meeting our client’s needs through our Family of Companies.

Leisa and Suzanne are critically important to these areas and the future of LBMC,” said Jeff Drummonds, managing partner of LBMC. “Their backgrounds and roles will work in concert to continue to attract the best clients, attract the industry’s best talent, and to increase the visibility of LBMC.”

As the director of Client Experience, Ms. Gill will develop, analyze and align LBMC’s brand promise with the overall client experience. Ms. Gill has spent the last twenty-plus years helping build LBMC’s brand and reputation – she’ll now use that institutional knowledge to enhance an already strong client experience. She will manage ongoing education of LBMC teams on improving the client experience, and she will employ an analytical approach to ensuring success by setting benchmarks and monitoring progress.

“Leisa has been an integral member of our company for 22 years. Nobody knows LBMC and, ultimately, our clients better,” said Mr. Drummonds. “We’re thrilled to have her in the role of director of Client Experience—a rare position in our industry—where she’ll use her considerable talents and deep understanding of LBMC to optimize the experience of every client, every day.”

As director of marketing, Ms. Reed, who has more than 25 years of senior sales and marketing experience in the financial and professional services industry, is being tasked with deploying messages that unite the brand and companies and educate and excite clients, leading to growth. Most recently, she served as chief marketing officer at FirstBank, where she spent the last 15 years of her career playing an important role in the bank’s expansion. In her role at LBMC, she will continue to build and bolster LBMC’s new brand across its regional footprint, and for expanding these efforts nationally.

“Suzanne has the proven ability to facilitate strategies and messaging that are a catalyst for consistent and sustainable growth,” said Mr. Drummonds. “Our distinct family of companies and their comprehensive capabilities stand out, not only in the state we call home, but nationally too. Suzanne has the experience and capability to ensure that message and our value proposition is scaled properly and heard.”
