BlueCross Promotes Martin To Director Of Commercial Financial Management

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has promoted Rob Martin to director of commercial operations financial management. In this role, he will oversee planning, expenses, membership projections, and reporting. He’ll also be responsible for review of vendor contracts for BlueCross commercial business.

Mr. Martin joined BlueCross in 1997 and has served in several roles, including pharmacy pricing actuary and valuation actuary. Most recently he served as manager of business planning.

“Rob brings vast experience in actuarial roles and strategic planning processes to this position,” said Robin Young, vice president of commercial finance and chief underwriter at BlueCross.
“He’s also been instrumental in developing our BlueCross annual enterprise financial plans.”

Mr. Martin earned a bachelor of science in mathematics from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
