Sidney Washington Ashe, Jr., 55, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at a local residence.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Ashe, Sr.; mother, Estelle R. Jackson; and sister, Patricia Ashe.
Survivors include his sons, Sidney Ashe, III, Zakerious Gibson, and Steven Young; daughters, Ayanna Ashe, Tenisia Ashe, and Sinai Ashe-Lee; grandchildren, Taijia Robinson and Tajanna Winn; sisters, Verlinda (Murphy) Green of Chattanooga and Claudette (Joseph) Tessier of Mesa, AZ; a host of aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.
Visitation is on Sunday, May 1, from 1-2 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Monday, May 2, at 1 p.m. at Orchard Park SDA Church with Pastor Martin Lister as the eulogist. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
