Kathy Lennon Will Bring Necessary Changes To The School Board

  • Tuesday, July 19, 2016

If you listen to the latest buzz words in education, you will hear the word accountability mentioned often.  The record of the current school board and administration is anything but accountable.

Hamilton County schools are listed as the worst large system in the state - 60 percent of third graders are reading below grade level, falling teacher morale, housing students in substandard buildings due to lack of maintenance and $500,000 spent buying out the contracts of the last three school superintendents instead of being spent on classroom instruction.

If this were a business, everyone in management would be fired.  The time for change on the Hamilton County school board is long overdue.

I ask everyone in to join me in voting for Kathy Lennon for the District 2 School Board seat this Aug. 4 to begin to bring about the changes necessary to provide the best education possible for the students of Hamilton County.
