Marty Haynes Thanks Supporters

  • Wednesday, August 17, 2016

During the past year, there were a lot of things said about the assessor’s race – good and bad. Yet, the voters looked past the rhetoric, went to the polls and elected me to be the next assessor of property.

For those who voted for me, thank you. I’m forever honored and humbled that you have placed your trust in me. For those who supported someone else, I pledge to work tirelessly every day to earn your trust and support as your assessor of property.

To my family, friends and supporters who generously contributed their time and efforts to my campaign, I’m simply overwhelmed by your efforts.  I’m a blessed man and will forever be grateful for your help in making this day possible.

To Mr. Bennett, you have set the standard for what it means to serve as the assessor of property. Your decades of public service have also made our community better. For this, we are forever grateful. No one likes to follow a legend, but I look forward to taking up that challenge as I work to build upon the standards you have set for the Assessor’s Office.

Again, I thank you for the opportunity to serve.
