Tim Hughes, 58, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2016 at the family residence.

Tim was the son of the late Omega Wise Hughes and James H. Hughes; and was also preceded in death by his brother, Randy Hughes.

Tim was a 1976 graduate of Copper Basin High School in Polk County. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga where he became a Medical Technologist. He also was a Massage Therapist for 10 years and received his training from Miller-Mote. Tim loved anything having to do with Horses! He enjoyed rescuing and training wild horses and traveling. Tim had a huge heart and was willing to help anyone who needed help. He attended the Baptist Church and was a loving father, brother and friend!

Survivors include his daughter, Kayla Peppers and her husband Nick of Chattanooga; his sisters, Donna Tressler and her husband Steve and Mitzi Loudermilk all of Ducktown, TN; his special friend, LaDon Terry of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

At Tim’s request, there will be no services.

The Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel has charge of the arrangements.
