Autumn Children's Festival, Benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities Of Greater Chattanooga, To Be Held Oct. 1-2

The Autumn Children’s Festival, benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga, will be held on Oct. 1 and 2 from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at the Tennessee Riverpark, 4301 Amnicola Hwy.  Admission and parking are free.

At the festival, attendees celebrate fall while supporting families with sick children; all proceeds benefit families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.  

The Festival attracts over 3,000 attendees in two days with food, activities, crafts, and games for all ages, including: a petting zoo, face painting, horse rides, carnival games with prizes, a Ronald McDonald meet and greet (Saturday at noon), arts and crafts, kiddie train, hayrides, as well as health, wellness, and educational programs, and more.

Activities range from 50 cents to $3.

Officials said the Autumn Children’s Festival is the longest and largest running children’s festival in the area. The event generates over $65,000 for the charity each year. 

"The Festival is made possible by our partnership with the Tennessee Society of CPAs and several local sponsors including Ross Glass & Aluminum, Volkswagen Chattanooga, McDonald’s, BlueCross BlueShield, Children’s Hospital at Erlanger, EPB Fiber Optics, Food City, US Xpress, Barbara and David Carroll, CBL & Associates Properties, Inc., SunTrust, M&M Industries, Sherman and Reilly, WTVC NewsChannel 9, Sunny 92.3 and Chattanooga Times Free Press," officials said.
