Jim Johnson, 62, of Hixson, passed away on October 2, 2017.
He was born June 30, 1955 to Curtis and Marna Johnson. Jim was very involved with Red Bank High School Sports, and enjoyed helping others. Mr. Johnson served in the Navy for eight years.
He was preceded in death by his father Curtis Johnson and his son Jason Johnson.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Johnson; son, PFC David Johnson (Aichelle); daughter, Kelly Belk (Tony); mother, Marna Johnson; grandchildren, Nolan Belk, Rileigh Belk, Dylan Belk, Gabriel Johnson, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home and Thursday, from 10-11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church.
Funeral services will follow in the church at 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held in the National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association or The Kidney Foundation.
