Judge Don Moore Had A Life Well Lived

  • Tuesday, December 5, 2017

I was sadden to learn of the passing of Judge Don Moore.

I first met Don while he was in the Tennessee Legislature.  A group of us had gone to Nashville on an educational issue and there we met with Legislator Moore.  He was very attentive, very caring and concerned over the issue that we had and he was effective in helping to rectify that situation.

I then had dealings with him while he was the Hamilton County executive.  Again, he demonstrated his concern for the public and for the needs of the people.  While he was in office he did many things that helped Hamilton County progress as the effective county government it is today.

Then when Don became Judge Moore; I tried several cases in front of him.  He was a very fair judge and was always respectful to all the litigates.  He always strived to seek justice.

Judge Moore did many great things in his life for the State of Tennessee and Hamilton County and for those things this community has to be grateful for a life well lived.
