Hamilton County Democratic Party Sees Strong Local Support At “Forward Together” Fundraiser

The Hamilton County Democratic Party declared its “Forward Together” fundraiser on Thursday a success. Nearly 80 guests attended the event, including Chattanooga City Council members Carol Berz, Russell Gilbert, Yusuf Hakeem, and Chris Anderson.

Attendees embraced the keynote presentation delivered by former Nashville Mayor Karl Dean. During the presentation, Mayor Dean, who recently announced that he is running for governor of Tennessee, spoke about the role of education and jobs in building a strong community. Attendees received his message with enthusiastic applause.

Event host Mark Siedlecki noted that the party is invigorated and focused on the future. “We look forward to bringing Democrats together, supporting candidates for local offices, and continuing our efforts to build our organization here in Hamilton County,” he said.

The Hamilton County Democratic Party expressed their appreciation to Olan Mills, Jay and Jennifer Mills, Kincaid and Allison Mills, Lee Davis, Dana Perry, the Iron Workers, and the Chattanooga Area Labor Council for helping host this event.
