Katherine “Kathy” Darlene Amos, 65, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017.
She lived most of her life in Ringgold, and she was of the Christian faith. Kathy was a loving mother and nana who enjoyed her time with her grandchildren and was an avid gardener.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley Ayers, Linda and Brenda Payne; brother, Ricky Payne.
Survivors are husband, Terry Amos, Ringgold; son, Rick (Lisa) Aikens and granddaughters, Macy and Bree, all of Ringgold; stepson, David Farmer, Ringgold; brothers, Bobby (Barbara) Payne, Gainesville, Ga. and Charles Payne, also of Gainesville, Ga.; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 29, from 1-3 p.m. Graveside service will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Catoosa Memorial Gardens with Minister Pratt Hughes officiating.
