  • Tuesday, April 18, 2017

The Tennessee Association of Manufacturers will host its annual Manufacturers Excellence Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, at the Chattanooga Convention Center. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 a.m. and end at 1 p.m.

The event serves to recognize members of the organization who exemplify practices resulting in manufacturing excellence. Senator Lamar Alexander will deliver the keynote address.

The Manufacturers Excellence Awards are presented in the categories of Energy, Environment, Safety and Company of the Year, and serve to distinguish entire organizations for their overall achievements and positive impacts. Award finalists include AdTech Ceramics, Astec, Inc., Chattanooga Labeling, EPB, Koch Foods, Lectrus, Miller Industries, Roadtec, Siskin Steel and Tennessee American Water Company.  The association will also present the InSpires award, which was created this year in memory of Tim Spires, former president and CEO of the Tennessee Association of Manufacturers who passed away unexpectedly earlier this year.
