Avoid The Cow Piles

  • Wednesday, May 10, 2017

Our president seems to not avoid what my brother and I were constantly reminded... "Don't step in it, step around, I don't want that tracked in the house..." That was cow piles and we learned quickly when shoes were left outside one time and got rained on.

Oh yes, we learned but I have to wonder if Trump will learn not to step in it.  He seems to walk from one crisis of confidence to another and the GOP, holding on for dear life, wanting this Republican in the office to get legislation passed even if Trump merely serves as a figure head, not a leader.

The GOP house and senate majorities are sure of their power base getting legislation done and on his desk for his trademark signature. The problem is that Trump doesn't seem to be aware that he sends his staff out on missions to clean up the piles and they do it dutifully. They must know, I hope, that Trump really does not know what he is doing.  How could he?

That is not a rhetorical question I just posted. How would Trump know anything about how government works when he doesn't like to read. Oh my gosh, what did this country vote for?
