Eastdale Village Community UMC Hosts Celebration Of Black August

Eastdale Village Community United Methodists Church will kickoff their worship celebration of Black August in honor and remembrance of all freedom fighters, scholar activists and political prisoners.

The kickoff will be held Sunday, July 30, at 11:30 a.m. 

Special guest will be Quixote Scarborough, A.K.A. Brotha Thutmose Sankara of Wadu Ga., co-chair WRFG 89.3 FM Atlanta and We Speak Life Radio political prisoner report show host.

The morning worship speaker will be Emeritus of Second Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Paul McDaniel.
