Cleveland State Defeats Bryan 3 Sets To 2

Cleveland State defeated Bryan College on Wednesday with a final score of three sets to two. This puts CSCC at 8-3 on the season before they hit the road for their next three away games.

The Lady Cougars started off slow, dropping game one by a score of 18-25. Shortly after, CSCC came roaring back in game two winning that one with a score of 25-11. Their momentum carried on into game 3 winning that one 26-24. Now trying to close out the match, the Lady Cougars took one step backward, losing a tight game four, 25-23. With the match on the line, Cleveland State entered game five determined and focused, winning the final set, 15-8, setting the final score of 3 sets to 2.

Next up, the Lady Cougars will travel to Gallatin, Tn. on Saturday, where they will meet a team they've already beaten earlier in the season, Welch College.
