Walton Parker Neyman, beloved husband, son and brother, passed away January 27, 2018 at a local hospital. He was 57.

He was a graduate of Central High School and received a bachelor’s degree in Communications from UTC.  As a student, he worked briefly at WDEF before going on to a career at Parker-Allison Co. in sales where his distinctive voice and larger than life personality distinguished him.

Parker loved life, his family and friends passionately.  He was known for his culinary skills, love of travel and concern for all animals. His and Debbie’s favorite destination was Scotland and they made many trips there. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and the Chattanooga Yacht Club.

He was preceded in death by his father, H.K. “Pete” Neyman, and his grandparents, Nola and Gertrude Pleasant.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Debra Taylor Neyman, his mother, Mary Pleasant Neyman, and his sister, Susan (James) Hood, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 3, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 848 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, at 2 p.m. with Reverend F. Quinn Parman, IV and John A. Cupp officiating.  Visitation will precede the service by one hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you honor Parker in a way that would most please him, by making a donation to Pet Placement Center at 5975 Dayton Blvd., Chattanooga, 37415 or Wally’s Friends, P.O. Box 16100, Chattanooga, 37416 in his memory.
