Shirley Hurlburt
Shirley Martin Hurlburt, 70, died on November 15, 2018.
She was born in Ogden, Ut. on Nov. 16, 1947. She was the daughter of Lloyd and Phyllis Woodland Martin.
She married Donald Leonard Hurlburt on Nov. 25, 1967, in Ogden. She later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple.
She worked at IRS in Ogden U.T. and later on at Lucas Lumber where she enjoyed her job as secretary. She enjoyed the outdoors where she loved horses and she loved going 4 wheeling with her husband and friends. She especially loved the mountains. She loved living in Slaterville from 1974 until she moved to live with her daughter Mishelle Seay and family in LaFayette, Ga.
She is survived by her daughter, Mishelle (David) Seay and grandson, Colton Seay of LaFayette, and sister, Linda Johnson of Yuma, Az.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald L. Hurlburt, her daughter, Sheri, son, Travis, her three brothers, Richard, Cary and Neil Martin.
The family would like to thank Kelli McCollumand Karl Hentz for the terrific help during the last few months of her life.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. at Meyers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd., Ogden, Ut. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, Nov. 20, from 6-8 p.m. at Meyers Mortuary and Wednesday, from 1-1:40 p.m.
Interment will be in Ogden City Cemetery.
