Blake Storey Of Chattanooga Holistic Medicine Leads Hour Of Meditation And Music Dec. 21

Thursday, December 13, 2018

The public is invited to "take an hour to refocus and look inward" during this holiday season on Friday, Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the free annual Solstice “meditation concert,” as part of the Counterpoint concert series at St Peter’s Church, 848 Ashland Terrace.

"In the days leading up to Christmas, it’s easy to get so caught up in the rush of shopping and parties, that we sometimes forget about what’s truly important," organizers said.  "Sip some healing tea as Blake Storey of Chattanooga Holistic Medicine gives you a brief guide to meditative practice before a concert designed to lead you through a meditative exploration."

Mr. Storey will be joined by violinist Bryony Stroud-Watson and violist Angela Baucom, both deep practitioners of meditation in their own practice.

There is no admission, but donations in support of the artists will be accepted at the door.
