Richardson, Christine McGowan (Cleveland)

Christine McGowan Richardson, 85, a resident of Cleveland, passed away early Monday morning, February 19, 2018 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Richardson was the daughter of the late Mildred Haig McGowan and Charles McGowan Sr. Her husband, Don Richardson, her sister, Ruby Cross and her brothers, Paul, Grant, Calvin and Reverend Charles McGowan also preceded her in death. Mrs. Richardson was retired from Duracell after 20 years of service. She loved yard sales and shopping but most of all she loved being with her family. She was of the Christian Faith.

Survivors include her daughter, Victoria "Vicki" Vaughn, her granddaughter, Andrea "Andi" Whiddon and her husband, Robert, her two great-grandchildren, Tyler and Jesse Leonard all of Cleveland, her loving brother, John McGowan and his wife Louise of Cleveland, her special nephew and caregiver, Ronnie Carroll and his wife Vickie also of Cleveland and several more nieces and nephews also survive.

The Remembrance of Life Graveside Service and Interment will be conducted on Friday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Jim Hibbard officiating. Family and friends will serve as casket bearers.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Friday at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services North Ocoee Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
