Check Out Low Sodium Foods At Food City

  • Thursday, February 22, 2018

I would like to encourage everybody to check out Food City’s large assortment of lower sodium foods.

High blood pressure is a major problem in the United States, and we should all strive to eat less sodium. However, that is very hard to do when most processed foods are already chock full of salt.

Lately, I have noticed that Food City carries a lot of things you use regularly, such as canned mushrooms in lower sodium varieties. For example, your usual can of mushrooms has as much as 400 milligrams of sodium per serving, as opposed to 15 for the low sodium variety. This is great news for us who have been struggling to lower our sodium intake.

But, if people don’t buy these items, I fear they will soon disappear from the shelves. So, do your heart a favor and check it out.
