Bobby Rose
Bobby Allen Rose, 79, of Ooltewah, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Eva Rose; sister, Carol Edwards and brother, Kenneth Rose.
Survivors include his loving wife, Mary Lou Rose of Ooltewah; children, Teresa (James) Dearth of Cleveland, Chuck (Sherri) Rose of Kearneysville, W.V., and Charlene (Richard) Higgins of Ringgold; five grandchildren; sister, Rita Moore of Clintwood, Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
He was a member and deacon at Ooltewah Church of Christ. Bobby retired from Roadway Express. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He was very close to his family. One of his favorite things to do was to joke around with his grandkids.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 1, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 2, at the funeral home with Ministers Denny Howell and Larry Judd officiating. Interment will follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
