Geneva H. Stone, age 92 of Dalton, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at Regency Park Assisted Living.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Lewis Arnold; son, Jack Arnold; daughter, Sylvia Arnold; mother, Ruby Harrison; two great-grandchildren, Terry Bates, Sr. and Breanna Poteet; and two sisters, Juanita Jones and Yvonne Harkins.
She is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Melva Smith Andrews of Dalton, Annette and Roy Workman of Rocky Face and Celia Waters of Dalton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Henry and Marie Arnold and Bobby and Rachel Arnold, all of Rocky Face; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held, Friday, Feb. 9, at 11 a.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Lillard Stringer, Rev. J. T. Sanders and Pete Reed officiating. Burial will be in the Crane Eater Cemetery in Red Bud.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-9 p.m.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to North Whitfield Missionary Baptist Church in Tunnel Hill.
