Bulldozer Damaged By Fire At Alpha Excavation

Firefighters battled a fire Monday morning in the Ooltewah area.

At 11:30 a.m., a 911 call was made reporting a bulldozer fire at 9409 Peppy Branch Trail.

Tri-Community VFD Chief Steve Wright, reported the bulldozer experienced mechanical problems and caught fire while clearing property.

When fire apparatus arrived on the scene, they found the bulldozer fully involved with fire. Damages are estimated at $ 85,000.00. No injuries were reported.

The bulldozer was owned by Alpha Excavation.
