Charles Raymond Kelley, age 59, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at a local hospital.

He was born Jan. 24, 1959 in Dalton, a son of the late Ray and Alice Rainey Kelley. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tasha Collette; and sister, Debbie Kelley.

He was the owner of Kelley’s Painting Company. 

He is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Charles Kelley, Cody Morrison and Sarah Smith of Dalton; son-in-law, Barry Collette of Cleveland; brothers and sister-in-law, Jerry Kelley of Dalton, Roger and Myrtle Kelley of Crandall, Ga., Tony Kelley of Dalton; and ten grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

A service to celebrate the life of Charles Raymond Kelley will be held Saturday, June 23, at 11 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the United Memorial Gardens with Cody Morrison, Jeremy Kelley, Charles Kelley, John Kelley, Austin Kelley and Barry Collette serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. on Friday.
