Levolia "Lee" Stephens
Levolia "Lee" Leak Stephens, 80, passed away on July 9, 2018, in Chattanooga.
She was born on Aug. 7, 1937, to George and Cassie Leak. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, General Stephens, her mother, father, four brothers and one sister. She was a graduate of Howard High School class of 1955.
Levolia left Chattanooga in 1955 and spent most of her life in Cleveland, Ohio. In Cleveland she worked as a shipping manageruntil her retirement. While in Chattanooga she worked at CADAS Rehab Center. She was a member of the Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church where she served as part of the Beautifying Guild.
She is survived by her brother, Lebron Leak, Atlanta, Ga., stepson, Mark(Kris) Stephens, Cleveland, Ohio, devoted nieces and nephews, Julius (Reiko) Simmons, Cleveland, Ohio, Sandra Jordan, Carolyn Jenkins, Elmer (Cassandra) Leak, Jr., Anthony (Demetria) Leak, Lynn Leak, James Leak, Phoenix Arizona, Terrance (Jerri) Leak, William (Cynthia) Leak, Lebron Leak Jr., Baltimore, Md., Tatnya Lindo, New York City, several other great nieces and nephews, devoted sister-in-law, Alice Leak and devoted friends, Virginia Hudson and Connie Whiteside.
The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, July 16, at Orchard Knob Missionary Baptist Church.
