Lester Shell
Lester Lee Shell, Jr., 71, of Chattanooga passed away on July 18, 2018.
He was a Godly man who loved his family, jokes, magic tricks and fishing. Lester also enjoyed watching his grandchildren play baseball, watching NASCAR, antique cars and was a big UT football fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester “Leck” and Katherine Shell; brother, Larry Shell and sister, Barbara Tate.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda Shell; children, David Scott (Mandy Tindell) Shell and Steven Michael (Mandy Yother) Shell; five grandchildren, Hunter, Marley, Sam, Braden and Abby; brother, Randy (Kim) Shell.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 20, from 5-8 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Joe Sneed officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
