CCS Wins Hixson Volleyball Tournament

The CCS volleyball team improved to 7-0 on the season winning the Hixson tournament.   CCS beat Red Bank, East Ridge and Rhea County in pool play and then beat host Hixson 25-11, 25-15 in the semifinals.

In the championship game CCS beat Upperman 25-22, 25-16.   

AJ Johnson and Savannah Ricketts led the team with 25 kills each.  Rachel Kay had 52 assists and Emily Day had 50.  Kay and Day also had nine aces.  Lauren Day had 55 digs and Summer Jones had 45.
