Cleveland Volunteers Join In Stream Cleanup Along Cleveland Greenway

The Cleveland Stormwater Division and Bradley County Stormwater co-sponsored a stream cleanup on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. along the Cleveland Greenway.
 
Thirty-five volunteers from Cleveland State Community College’s First Year Seminar Boot Camp participated in the cleanup. The volunteers collected over 15 bags of trash and debris weighing over 200 pounds.
 
“Our goal is to help enhance the water quality and improve the overall quality of life for all residents,” said Stormwater Coordinator Chris Broom.
“We appreciate the time and effort of everyone who participated in our event.”
