Jerry Wayne Crane, 66, of Rising Fawn, passed away at his home Sunday morning, January 20, 2019. Mr. Crane was a retired self-employed contractor and a livestock farmer. He was a very faithful and involved member of the Piney Grove Baptist Church, and was in the Pastor's Sunday School Class at the church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Madeline Brock Crane and brother, Harold E. Camp.
Surviving include his loving wife, Tammy Ann Crane, of Rising Fawn; son, Jerry Wayne Crane, Jr., of Keizer, Or.; son, Kenneth James Hillstrom, of Boston, Ma.; daughter, Summer Ann Irmer, of Chattanooga; daughter, Holly Michele Irmer, of Armada, Mi.; nine grandchildren; brother, Rev. Ted (Carlene) Camp, of Trenton; sister, Vickie (Alvin) Vann, of Rome; sister, Linda (Ben) McNabb, of Jasper; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 27 at the Piney Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. John Smith and Rev. Ted Camp officiating. Interment will follow in Byrds Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday at the Ryan Funeral Home in Trenton and from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday at the Piney Grove Baptist Church.
