Hilltop Players Present A Charlie Brown Christmas Friday

  • Friday, December 6, 2019

The Bryan College Performing Arts Department is presenting Christmas on the Hill Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Rudd Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

During the two-hour performance, the Hilltop Players will do a shortened version of A Charlie Brown Christmas, accompanied by music from the Bryan College Chorale, Chamber Singers, Piano Ensemble, and Community Orchestra. The ensemble groups will also be performing several other popular Christmas songs.

Dr. Kim Keck, chair of the Performing Arts Department, said, “It has been a lot of fun working on some of our favorite Christmas songs as we prepare to collaborate with the Hilltop Players under the direction of Theater Instructor, Alexis Landry.”

Dr. Keck is particularly excited about the songs, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “We Need a Little Christmas.” However, she noted that it just wouldn’t be A Charlie Brown Christmas without the song, “Christmas Time is Here.”

All groups have been preparing for Christmas on the Hill for several weeks, and are excited to share their efforts with the Bryan community.

If you have questions about the performance, call Erica Holloway at 775-7498
