Semmie L. Ford-Brown passed away on Friday, February 15, 2019, after a long illness.

Semmie was born in Georgia on Sept. 28, 1931, to the late Robert C. and Mary Baggett. She enjoyed cooking and travel and loved time with her family. She was a member of Bayside Baptist Church. She had a long career in photographics and became co-owner of Hinkle Photographics.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Laurell Ford.

Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Brown; daughter, Sharon (Mike) Little; two grandchildren, Michael (Brandy) Little and Katie (Landon) Mason; seven great grandchildren; and several step-children and grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, Feb. 18, from 1-3 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson.

The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Grady Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org/donate.

Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
