Taylor, Robert L.

Robert Lebron Taylor, 90, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, March 14, 2019, in a local hospice facility.
 
Mr. Taylor was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from U.S. Pipe Foundry after 40 years of service.
 
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Bernice Taylor; three daughters, Velicia (Bernard) Qualls, Jacqueline and Donna Taylor, one son, Robert Taylor, Jr., all of Chattanooga; sister, Mary Catherine Peek; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
 
The body will lie in state from 12-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 21, at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
