Ervin, Anthony Dewayne

Anthony Dewayne Ervin, 60, died on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at a local hospital. 

He was of the Baptist faith. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He was employed by First Response, Inc. He was self-employed with AD Shadetree until his health failed. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur J. Earvin Jr. and Ella Vera McClendon Earvin; sister, Doris Earvin; nephew, Kendrell Swoopes.

Survivors include his brothers, David (Pamela) Ervin of Jacksonville, Fl. and Arthur Ervin III of Nashville; sister, Bertha Adams; nieces, Stephanie Earvin and Amy Davis; adopted nephew, Artee (Junebug) Watson; dear family friend, Connie and Elmer Thomas; Marshall and Priscilla Brown, and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

The body will lie in state from 9 a.m.–1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, at the funeral home. A graveside service will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Reverend Blevins Saxton III officiating.
