Tate, Estle Alester "Zeke" (Whitwell)

Estle Alester “Zeke” Tate, 90, of Whitwell, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019.  

He was preceded in death by his son, Estle Keith Tate; parents, James & Bessie Tate; sisters, Mary Hunziker and Irene Busacker; and brothers, Troy Tate and Grady Tate.  

Mr. Tate was a member of the Church of God.

Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 49 years, Betty Cates Tate; daughter, Marilyn Tate Frazier; sister, Pat Dempsey; brother, David Tate; five grandchildren, Delynda Weisbrodt, Alester Tate, Paul Turney, James Frazier and Jenny Frazier; three great-grandchildren, Richard Weisbrodt, Riley Weisbrodt and Hadleigh Frazier; and nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends 2-8 p.m. Saturday, April 20.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 21 in the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Corey Blevins and Rev. James Ramsey officiating.
