Harold “Papa” Prince, 81, of Trenton, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019. Mr. Prince was a self-employed carpenter and retired after many years of service. He was a member of the New Life Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Daniel Prince; parents, Willie and Essie Prince; and eight siblings.
Surviving include his children, Vickie (Greg) Garner, of Trenton Rita (Ron) Burgess, of Trenton, Chris (Charity) Prince, of Trenton and Jason Prince, of Trenton; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five siblings, Rev. Russell Prince, Daniel Prince, Elizabeth Stone, Sue Tripp and Wanda Wilkerson; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 14 in the chapel, with Pastor Lynn Newman and Rev. Russell Prince officiating. Interment to follow in Brown’s Gap Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday and from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday at the Ryan Funeral Home and Crematory, Trenton.
