Mother nature wasn't on the Chattanooga Lookouts side, neither was the score as they lost their first second half game losing to the Birmingham Barons Saturday night, 11-2.

In the one-sided loss, the Lookouts banged out 7 hits to the Barons 16. Chattanooga had nine runners in scoring position but could only send one man across home plate.

The game had only progressed two innings, when 72 minute rain delay ended LHP Reiver Sanmartin's Double-A debut.

Sanmartin was tagged with the loss, giving up two earned runs.

Mitch Nay got the Lookouts on the board with a liner to center scoring Chris Okey. Though that was Nay's only hit he racked his 19th RBI for the month of June.

Second baseman Gavin LaValley was the only Lookouts hitter in double figures with his two hits.

The Barons led 2-1 but they didn't stop there; as they clobbered the Lookouts pitchers for six runs between the fourth and fifth inning. Chattanooga's four relievers were tagged with nine runs.

White Sox top prospect, Luis Robert slugged another home run in his third consecutive game.

Chattanooga first baseman Ibandel Isabel crushed a solo home run, his 16th of the year, as he continues to lead the Southern League in homers..
