Cleveland State Golfers Qualify For Nationals; Kreuger Wins District NJCAA Tournament

The Cleveland State men's golf team competed in The Southeast District NJCAA Tournament at the Bristol Country Club in Bristol, TN finishing in 3rd place and just three strokes away from second overall.

"I'm very proud of these young men," head coach Shannon Skipper said. "The hard work paid off."

With the top three finish, Cleveland State qualified to compete for the National Championship in Joplin, MO May 21st-24th.

Owen Kreuger placed first winning the low medalist for the tournament shooting six under par for 54 holes.
Reese Mcfatter placed 4th and All District at one under par.

Kadyn Copeland, Logan Gadd and Andrew McCarver each competed in the event for Cleveland State helping to finish in the top three to qualify for the National Championship in May.
