The Chattanooga Lookouts won their third game in a row by just a run, overcoming the Biloxi Shuckers 6-5 on Wednesday night.
Shortstop Edwin Arroyo led the charge offensively with a 2-4 night. He homered and had three runs batted in. His three run homerun in the sixth inning put the Lookouts ahead for good. Centerfielder Jay Allen II added two hits and two runs scored.
Starting pitcher Jose Franco picked up the win after allowing four runs on five hits in six innings. He walked one and struck out four and moves to 5-2 on the year with a 2.83 earned run average. Trevor Kuncl continued his dominant season two and a third innings and allowing no runs on only one hit. It is his seventh save of the year and he boasts a .90 earned run average.
The Lookouts and Shuckers are back in action Thursday night in Chattanooga at 7:15 p.m.
