Green Thumb Garden Club Meets Aug. 11

The Green Thumb Garden Club of Collegedale/Ooltewah will meet Monday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:45 p.m.) at Chestnut Hall (in the Commons), 4950 Swinyar Dr. in Collegedale.  

The presenter is Master Gardener Diane Moore, whose topic is "Let Bright Colors be the Only Fireworks in your Gardens."  Her presentation concerns landscaping and fire safety.

First-time visitors are free.  Membership is $15 yearly per person or $25 per couple or family.  There will be refreshments and door prizes.
