Chattanooga Lookouts Bounce Back Sunday With 14-4 Rout Of Biloxi BayBears

Pensacola, FL - After being limited to a single run on one hit Saturday night in Pensacola, the Chattanooga Lookouts hitters took revenge out on the Mobile BayBears Sunday with a 14-4 win.

The Lookouts tallied a season-high 14 runs on 22 hits, including nine runs on nine hits in the top of the first.

Chattanooga's victory over Mobile ended a four-game losing streak.

Only four of the runs in the first inning were earned, as the BayBears committed a pair of errors.

After a couple of games in Pensacola with three and four errors respectively, the Lookouts had no errors Sunday.

Chattanooga sent 13 batters to the plate in the opening frame and knocked Zack Kelly (L, 2-6) out of the game after recording just two outs.

Gavin LaValley came just a double shy of the cycle, and he drove in four runs in the first inning with a home run and a triple. All nine Lookouts batters had hits, and seven of the nine had multiple hits.

Lookouts starting pitcher, Brad Markey, (W, 3-3) struck out seven batters and did not issue a walk in a six-inning start.

Michael O’Neill went 4-6 with a double, 2 runs scored, and he had an RBI.

Stuart Fairchild went 2-5 with a walk, 3 runs scored, and he had an RBI.

Gavin LaValley went 4-5 with a walk, triple, home run (8), and he had 4 RBI.

Samir Duenez went 1-5 with 2 RBI.

Tyler Stephenson went 2-6 with a double, home run (6), and he scored 2 runs.

Michael Beltre went 2-6 with 2 runs scored.

Calten Daal went 4-5 with a double, run scored, and he had an RBI.

Yonathan Mendoza went 2-5 with a run scored and he had 2 RBI.

Alberti Chavez went 1-5 with 2 runs scored.

Brad Markey allowed 4 runs in 6.0 innings with 7 strikeouts.
