Thomas Eugene Brown
Thomas Eugene Brown, age 72, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday September 11, 2019 as a result of an automobile accident.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hudson J. and Sue Brown; and nephew, Bob Burns.
He was a member of Cohutta Masonic Lodge #64 F&AM and the Dalton Shrine Club.
He is survived by the mother of his children, Kathy Brown of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Patrick Neely of Dalton; son, Michael T. Brown of Dalton; sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne and James Burns of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Hobie and Luke Neely and Bryce Brown; special cousin, Butch Strickland of Cohutta; special friends at the Varnell Burger Den; and nieces and nephews also survive.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Brown will be held Monday, Sept. 16, at 1 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Darey Kittle and Rev. Tommy Ridley officiating.
Burial will be in Dawnville Cemetery. Masonic graveside rites will be conducted by Cohutta Masonic Lodge #64 F&AM. Members of the Dalton Shrine Club will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home on Sunday from 5-8 p.m.
