Comprehensive Spine Institute, 1206 Pointe Center Dr., Suite 110 in Chattanooga, announces Drs. James M. Osborn and Garrick W. Cason will begin seeing patients on Nov. 1.
Drs. Jim Osborn and Garrick Cason will transition their practice from the Cleveland area.
Dr. Osborn has been an active member of the Chattanooga community for nearly 20 years. During that period, he has participated in the training of orthopedic surgeons as faculty of the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He has previously served as the department’s director of Adult and Pediatric Spine and is currently an assistant professor.
"Dr. Osborn’s approach to spine care for his patients is one of thorough evaluation and conscientious care focused on the patient’s need and Medical Science," officials said. "The patient’s care team are always part of the decision process."
Dr. Cason completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery from the University Of Tennessee College of Medicine and completed an ACGME accredited fellowship in spinal surgery at the William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan. Dr. Cason is a certified diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He has been awarded the Rice-Holland Memorial Award in pharmacology, Deans Award and inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society by the University of Mississippi Medical School.
