CDOT Announces Upcoming Road Closures

The Chattanooga Department of Transportation announces the following road closures:

Wilcox Boulevard Tunnel
 
Wilcox Boulevard Tunnel will be closed for routine maintenance on the following dates and times:
Thursday from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.;
Friday from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m.; and
Sunday from 7 a.m.-(estimated)5 p.m.

Detours will be posted. Please plan additional time while traveling. 

Discovery Drive
 
Discovery Drive will be closed from 8 a.m. Saturday until 10 p.m. Sunday at the railroad grade crossing. Detours will be posted.

Broad Street
 
Broad Street will be closed 8 a.m. Saturday through 10 p.m. Sunday between W. Aquarium Way and W. 3rd Street as an outdoor expansion for restaurants. CDOT is working to help businesses comply with social distancing requirements by providing the extra room in our public space. 

Riverfront Parkway

On Sundays beginning this Sunday through Nov. 8 from 8 a.m.-8 p.m., Riverfront Parkway will be closed between E. Aquarium Way and Power Alley. This closure encourages the use of our public right-of-way while providing space for social distancing.

Reggie White Boulevard
 
Reggie White Boulevard will be closed Thursday from 5-11 p.m. at the request of Finley Stadium. 

Reggie White Boulevard will be closed Sundays from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. for the Chattanooga Essentials Market to enhance social distancing measures.  CDOT is working to help businesses comply with social distancing requirements by providing the extra room in our public space.
