Anthony “Amp” Lamar Suttles was born on April 16, 1957, and made his transition home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 22, 2020.

He was a former employee of Wheland Foundry for 20 years and later Applied Thermal Coatings.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy and Mary Suttles; brothers, Larry Suttles, Jerry Suttles and Samuel Suttles.

He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife of 30 years, Evelyn Suttles; son, Terrence Williams of Atlanta; daughter, Jasmine (Shawn) McClesky of Beaufort, SC; granddaughter, Talajia Williams of Marietta, Ga.; grandson, Terrence “TJ” Williams Jr. of Atlanta; sister, Delores Williams and brother, Wayne Suttles, both of Chattanooga; dedicated nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

His body will lie in state from 12–8:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 28, at John P. Franklin Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Saturday, Feb. 29, from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. with the Homegoing Service to follow at noon at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Glenn P. Taylor officiating.

Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
