Bihua Liu Wang, 69, of Hixson, died on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at her home.

She was very active in the Chattanooga Chinese Association, serving as president for two terms, and as a longtime teacher at the Chinese school. She loved helping at the Discovery Museum, entertaining children with Chinese songs and dances. Mrs. Wang was a loving wife, best friend, and the strongest supporter of Dr. Ling Jun Wang: “Without her, I could not have achieved anything.” As a mother she was selfless and devoted. Her children learned to always be curious, work hard, and have a kind heart. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Dr. Ling Jun Wang; children, Peter (Crystal) Wang, and Amy (Lei) Ji; sister, Bi Rong; brother Bi Hui; grandchildren, Lexie, Hannah, Cora, and Maxwell.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 16, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, March 15.
