Sachiko Durham, age 83, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020 at The Bridge in Ooltewah, Tn.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jack D. Durham; and her parents, Naotaro and Fuji Shitanaka.
Sachiko was a member of First Baptist Church of Dalton.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Scot Waldrop of Atlanta; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. James H. and Meg Durham of Chattanooga, Tn.; three sisters and two brothers, all of Hiroshima, Japan; and grandchildren, Emily Durham, Erica Durham, Rachel Waldrop and Chase Walker.
At Mrs. Durham’s request she will be cremated.
Services will be announced at a later time due to the shelter in place order.
