Cynthia J. Sutton
Cynthia J. Sutton, formerly of Chattanooga, passed away on May 7, 2020, at her home in Bluffton, SC.
She earned her B.S. degree from Knoxville College and her M.Ed. degree from UTC. Cynthia’s passion for education led her to excel as a special education teacher at Orange Grove, Chattanooga Public Schools, and the Kirkwood School District, (Missouri) until her retirement. She was a “Delta Dear” in her beloved sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her husband, William Sutton of Bluffton, SC; her daughter, Keely Sutton, of Hampton, Ga., and her three grandchildren along with a host of other family members and friends.
