Milam, Bryan Scott (Cleveland)

  • Tuesday, July 7, 2020
Bryan Scott Milam changed residence and was promoted to heaven on July 4, 2020. Bryan was born June 8, 1975 in Knoxville to Ronald Alvin Milam and Melissa Dutton Milam. Bryan loved life and made Jesus his Lord at an early age. He was called into the ministry in his teens when he began working in youth ministry. Ministry was his life and he pursued the Lord, was married to Cindy Stiles Milam in his mid-20s and was gifted two beautiful children, Tayler and Tanner, who he was so continuously proud of and immeasurably loved with his whole heart.
He continued, as he grew older, to pursue opportunities within other areas of ministry, working with various outreaches and churches. To the present, he worked at Thorpe Auto with very kind, special friends that have become family to the Milams. Bryan enjoyed being with family. He loved the holidays and family reunions, especially. He loved reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. He never met a stranger. But more than anything, he enjoyed hanging out with his kids. Also, he was a very avid Tennessee fan and could be heard all over Knoxville on every game day.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Micheal Milam, his father, Ronald Milam, and Bryan & Cindy’s Glory babies.

Bryan leaves behind to cherish his memory his Wife, Cindy Milam; daughter, Tayler Milam; son, Tanner Milam; his mother, Melissa Milam; grandmother, Mary Milam; and sister, Urshula Massengale (Eddie Massengale). Also surviving are special family members, Jerry Stiles (Pap), Jack Strong, Shirley Humphrey, Michael & Charity Humphrey & family, Tim & Deborah Pruitt & family, Paul & Allison Caylor & family, Brad & Amy Brown & family, Glenn & Billie Barber, Brian & Kristin Maupin, Kylee, Gerry & Sandi Holman, Phylliss Payne and Mathew & April Humphrey.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 11 at 6 p.m. at the Circle Assembly of God, 8529 Rutledge Pike in Knoxville, with Pastor Craig Cutshaw officiating, as well as other special ministry friends. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 4 p.m. until the 6 p.m. service time.
